Launched in 1963, the Minneapolis Skyway System is a network of climate-controlled pedestrian bridges, internal corridors, and tunnels connecting more than 150 buildings in the central business district of downtown Minneapolis.  With a cumulative length of more than 10 miles, it is the most extensive second-story pedestrian system in the world.

Upcoming Calendar Notes

Christmas Eve (Tuesday, December 24th): Skyway access for most buildings will follow normal hours. Skyway access for some government buildings will be closed.

Christmas Day (Wednesday, December 25th): Skyway access will be closed for most buildings.

New Years Eve (Tuesday, December 31st): Skyway access for most buildings will follow normal skyway hours for a Tuesday. Skyway access for some government buildings will be closed.

New Years Day (Wednesday, January 1st): Skyway access will be closed for most buildings.

Each building within the skyway system determines their own skyway hours.
